As a busy chiropractor, chiropractic instructor, mother of two, and an active member of the Elburn community, Dr. Erika Mennerick understands how debilitating pain, of any kind, can be. She herself is a former chronic low back pain and headache sufferer, and struggled to find a treatment that was a good fit for her health and holistic beliefs. Eventually, it was in a chiropractor who took the time to assess the way she moved, determine the true cause of her problem, train her in rehabilitation exercises to restore strength and endurance, and teach her how to prevent the condition from reoccurring. She now applies this knowledge to her own patients. Her experience with natural remedies has become an invaluable resource for her patients and friends who frequently come to her before reaching for drugs or surgery
Dr. Mennerick participates in ongoing educational opportunities in natural medicine, functional rehabilitation, chiropractic adjusting techniques, and more in order to maintain knowledge consistent with current concepts and research advances.
