Erika Mennerick, DC, Cert. MDT
Erika Mennerick, DC, Cert. MDT is a Chiropractic Physician at Trillium Health & Wellness in Elburn, IL. She sees patients ranging from infants through adults and enjoys helping everyday people move well. Motion Palpation and McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT) (cert. 2013) are the guiding principle behind her patient assessments. These, coupled with hands-on adjusting, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization rehab concepts, soft tissue myofasical release, and nutritional counseling, provide the basis for the evidence-based and patient-empowered care she strives to achieve. She is licensed in both Illinois and Wisconsin.
With a love for teaching, Dr. Mennerick spent seven years as an instructor at the National University of Health Sciences (2007-2014) and continues to teach seminars throughout the country and abroad with the Motion Palpation Institute with a special interest in pregnancy and postpartum musculoskeletal care. Dr. Mennerick teaches chiropractic technique for the American Chiropractic Association’s Diplomate in Pediatrics.
In service to the profession, Dr. Mennerick has been elected to the board of the Illinois Chiropractic Society (ICS) as the 1st Vice President and appointed as Treasurer. She also serves on the board of Practisync, a billing service and wholly owned subsidiary of the ICS. Dr. Mennerick is a long-standing member of the American Chiropractic Association and The McKenzie Institute USA.
Outside of the office, Dr. Mennerick can be found meandering the forest trails of Illinois and Wisconsin on mountain bike, cross country skis, hiking, or on the water in her kayak. She is a Kane County Certified Naturalist which means she’s a nature nerd and will gladly tell you the names of trees or native flowers whenever the opportunity arises. Erika lives with her partner Tom along with their two college-aged kids.
